Gabriela Fundora kept her unbeaten streak going with a powerful performance against Marilyn Badillo. The American fighter successfully defended her undisputed flyweight championship at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

From the opening bell, Fundora used her height and reach to control the fight. She quickly set up her jab and landed strong left hands in the first round. The champion continued to dominate in the second and third rounds, while Badillo tried to counter.

Badillo found some success in the fourth round, landing a few shots to Fundora's face. But the Mexican fighter's momentum didn't last long. By the fifth round, she started to slow down.

The sixth round saw Fundora step up her attack. She landed several four-punch combinations that went unanswered, showing Badillo was wearing down.

"I knew I had to keep my distance and use my jab. Once I saw her slowing down, I knew I could start putting my combinations together,"
Fundora said after the fight.

The end came in the seventh round. Fundora pinned Badillo against the ropes and unleashed a barrage of direct shots to her face. The onslaught forced Badillo to take a knee. She signaled to the referee that she couldn't continue, ending the fight by technical knockout.

This win cements Fundora's status as one of the top fighters in women's boxing. At just 23 years old, she improved her record to 16 wins, no losses, with 8 knockouts.

"Badillo was tough, but I knew my skills would be too much for her. I'm ready for anyone in the division,"
Fundora added.

Despite the loss, Badillo showed heart throughout the fight. She tried to close the distance and fight on the inside, staying true to the aggressive style of Mexican boxing. However, Fundora's reach, power, and quick combinations proved too much to overcome.

With this impressive win, Fundora continues to make waves in the flyweight division. Fans and experts alike are eager to see who she'll face next as she looks to further solidify her reign as the undisputed champion.
