David Adeleye and Jeamie Tshikeva will fight for the British heavyweight title this Saturday. The two boxers will meet at Co-op Live in Manchester, UK, with DAZN set to broadcast the action from 19:00 local time.

Adeleye, a 28-year-old with Nigerian ancestry, brings a record of 13 wins and 1 loss to the ring. He's known for putting strong pressure on his opponents and finishing fights quickly. Twelve of his wins have come by knockout.

The young heavyweight's last shot at the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) title ended in disappointment. Fabio Wardley knocked him out in October 2023. Adeleye bounced back with a first-round win over Salomon Dacres at Wembley in December.

Adam Booth, Adeleye's trainer, has worked on improving his fighter's technique, defence, and mobility since that loss to Wardley.

On the other side of the ring, Jeamie Tshikeva comes in with 8 wins, 1 loss, and 5 knockouts. The 31-year-old turned pro in 2022 after an amateur career that saw him rack up 29 wins against 11 losses.

Tshikeva, ranked 16th in his country, uses a solid jab to control distance and puts strong pressure on his opponents. This fight could be his last chance to break onto the big cards.

"This is a great opportunity for both fighters to show what they can do on an international stage,"
said the event promoter.

The card will also feature a fight for the Commonwealth Boxing Council super lightweight title, adding to the night's significance for British boxing fans.
