Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are getting ready for a big fight. The two champions will face off for the unified world super-middleweight titles later this year in Las Vegas.

Crawford, known as "Bud," will step up two weight divisions for this fight. The 37-year-old from Omaha faces the toughest test of his career against Canelo, who's ruled the 168lbs division for the past seven years.

Former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs thinks Crawford will win. In an interview with ESNews, Briggs said:

"I got Crawford by stoppage, a brutal stoppage. I'm telling you, Crawford by stoppage, I've got $100,000 on it."

The fight will pit two of boxing's best pound-for-pound fighters against each other. It's set to be announced officially soon, with September as the likely date.

But before Crawford, Canelo has another fight lined up. The Mexican star will defend his IBF super-middleweight title against William Scull on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. If Canelo wins, he'll become a two-time undisputed champion at 168lbs, making the Crawford fight even bigger.

The boxing world can't wait to see these two champions clash. With Canelo's dominance and Crawford's skill, it's shaping up to be one of the year's most exciting fights.
