One of the best boxers of our time, Terence Crawford, explained why he likes the UFC more than boxing.
"The thing I like about the UFC is that even if a guy loses, the fans will still support him. Right now in boxing, largely because of Floyd Mayweather, there is a situation in boxing where if a boxer loses and loses his "zero" he is labeled a loser and a sack. Floyd walked away with a flawless career and set the bar high for the rest of us. Now everyone tries to keep a "zero" in the defeat column. The principle is the same: if you lose once, you have to start all over again. Your brilliance is instantly lost because of the fans, the press and their behavior. In the past, fighters used to fight each other two or three times. I lost to him and then I beat him. They used to create trilogies. You don't see that now," Bloody Elbow quoted Crawford as saying.
