Unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk admitted that he dreams of holding a title fight in Ukraine.
However, Usyk realizes that he is unlikely to be able to make this dream come true because of the war against Russia.
"I think it's impossible now. Russia is at war against Ukraine, launching a lot of missiles. I was talking to my 15-year-old daughter. I asked her: "How are you over there?" She replied, "Oh, Daddy, that night was terrible." My family can live in a bomb shelter, I have one. My daughter said: "Daddy, I'm going to the bomb shelter tonight, oh my God, I'm scared". I answered her: "Look, don't worry, please don't worry, I'll go home tomorrow." I think it's a big problem.
Boxing is my life. A lot of people will probably say I have a great legacy. I don't think about that. My legacy is my children, what I create and do now for Ukraine," Usyk told Sky Sports.
