Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez are gearing up for a big fight at 168 pounds. The boxing world can't wait to see these two champions face off.

Many fans and experts think Canelo's size and power will be too much for Crawford. After all, Crawford just moved up to higher weight classes. But others believe Crawford's skills and smarts in the ring will help him win.

Hall of Fame trainer Ronnie Shields thinks Crawford has what it takes to beat Canelo. He says Crawford should follow Floyd Mayweather's game plan from 2013 when he beat Canelo.

"Floyd kept stepping around him. Every time Canelo tried to press, Floyd would step around, and Canelo had to reset. Crawford can do the same thing. He'll perfect that movement and keep Canelo on the defensive."

Shields points out that Crawford's natural weight is around 180 pounds, so he won't have trouble making 168. But Canelo usually weighs 190 or more, so he'll have to work hard to get down to the fight weight.

"Crawford has the skills to fight anybody in the world. It's not about power. If you have the skills, that's tough for anybody."

Shields thinks Crawford's footwork and constant movement will be key. He'll need to outsmart Canelo and keep him guessing.

Of course, Canelo isn't the same fighter he was when Mayweather beat him. Shields acknowledges this, saying:

"He's a seasoned warrior now. He's not the same guy he was when Floyd fought him."

The fight isn't set yet, but boxing fans are already talking about it. Will Crawford's skills be enough to overcome Canelo's size and power? We'll have to wait and see.
