Inouye-Cardenas is officially May 4 in Las Vegas

Absolute featherweight champion and P4P rankings star Naoya Inoue will face Ramon Cardenas on May 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This was officially announced by his promotional company Top Rank.

Thus, the 31-year-old four-division champion, whose last eight fights have been in his native Japan, will return to the United States. Inoue has fought three times in America, including twice in Las Vegas, most recently in 2021 when he knocked out Michael Dasmarinas.

"I am grateful to the fans in America who have followed my career," Inoue said. - The fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is another highlight of my career and I look forward to putting on a great show for everyone in attendance. Cardenas is a tough opponent who I respect for taking the fight without hesitation."
