Boxing columnist Dan Raphael said in an interview with IFL TV that he doesn't expect Dana White, who will soon be setting up his own boxing league with Turki Al Al-Sheikh, to be interested in working with those who still decide everything in professional boxing.

"Dana made it clear in the interview, I don't want to work with other promoters and we don't need federation belts, we won't work with these people, we don't need their titles, we will do our own thing and set our own weight classes, which will be smaller than in traditional boxing," said the American journalist.

It is not yet known when exactly fans will be able to see the first boxing event organized by White in conjunction with Al Al-Sheikh. There is speculation that it could be a tournament in September, with a Canelo-Crawford main event fight.
