Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua might face off in the ring later this year. The fight could have big effects on the heavyweight division.

Boxing fans have wanted to see Fury and Joshua fight for a long time. Many think the match should've happened years ago. Things got more interesting in December when Fury lost to Oleksandr Usyk. That made a Fury-Joshua fight seem more likely.

But last week, Fury threw everyone for a loop. He suddenly said he's retiring. This isn't the first time Fury's said he's quitting. He's done it before and then come back to fight. So, some people still think the bout with Joshua could happen.

Tony Bellew, who used to be the WBC cruiserweight champion, shared his thoughts on the potential fight. Bellew almost fought Fury himself once. He told Fightlens:

"I've always said it and I'll stick by it. I think Anthony Joshua will be forced to let his hands go and he'll knock out Tyson Fury. Do I think he's the better fighter? No. But not always the better fighter wins. I've been in fights myself where I've beat fighters better than me, like David Haye. I beat him twice but he's a better fighter than me. Styles makes fight."

Bellew thinks Joshua will win by knockout. He says Joshua will have to throw more punches. But Bellew adds that the better fighter doesn't always win. He uses his own fights with David Haye as an example. Bellew beat Haye twice, even though he thinks Haye was the better boxer.

There's talk about who Joshua might fight next if the Fury match doesn't happen. For now, fans are waiting to see if Fury really means it this time about retiring.
