Teofimo Lopez thinks Ryan Garcia will beat Devin Haney again. The WBO super lightweight champ also wants to fight the winner.

Garcia shocked the boxing world last April when he put on a career-best performance against Haney. He dropped the then-undefeated fighter several times on his way to a clear victory. The upset win was hailed as Garcia's 'performance of a lifetime'.

But things got complicated after the fight. Garcia tested positive for a banned substance called Ostarine. He got a one-year suspension and had to pay a fine of over $1 million.

Now, both fighters have agreed to a rematch in October. They're expected to have separate fights on the same card in May first. If they both come through those unscathed, they'll meet again later in the year.

Lopez shared his thoughts on the rematch in an interview with ESNEWS.

"I think Garcia, I think everybody's gonna pick Garcia."

The former unified lightweight champion also said he wants to fight the winner.

"Yeah, absolutely. We gotta go through these two tough competitors and world class champions, and then after that it'll be the winner between Haney-Garcia, thats what we're looking at."

Lopez will likely fight in the first half of 2025. He could face IBF super lightweight champion Richardson Hitchins or Subriel Matias.
