Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing promotional company, expressed his opinion that at the moment no super heavyweight has a chance to defeat WBA, WBC, WBO belt holder Oleksandr Usyk.
According to the functionary, the only boxer who can take the upper hand over the Ukrainian is the holder of the IBF belt in the first heavyweight division Jai Opetaya.
"Who can beat Usyk? I don't see any super heavyweight capable of doing that. Maybe Jay can beat Usyk? That would be one hell of a fight. Usyk became the absolute champion at featherweight, moved up to super featherweight and became the absolute champion there. The same goal is facing Opetaia. If we were to organize a bout of the World Heavyweight Champion against the World Heavyweight Champion, it would be a massive fight! But right now Jay needs to beat David Njika," Hearn told The Sporting News.
