Bob Arum, promoter of IBF lightweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko, said that the Ukrainian boxer promised him to make a decision on his career in early 2025.
"A few months ago I met with Vasyl, his father and Egis Klimas when Loma was in Los Angeles after his last fight. He told me that he wanted to spend time with his kids, that he would be traveling to Ukraine and would contact me after the New Year to tell me if he wanted to fight and who he wanted to fight.
So that's the best I can do. I can't read his mind. I don't know what he wants to do. Lomachenko is in a situation where there's an ongoing war in Ukraine, so I can't predict," Arum said in an interview with YouTube channel Fight Hub TV.
