World Boxing Council (WBC) President Mauricio Sulaiman discussed a potential return to the ring for former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
"In general, I support the idea of Klitschko fighting the winner of the rematch Usyk - Fury. There are many factors to consider: medical examinations, specifics. In reality, Wladimir Klitschko leads a healthy lifestyle. He lives a different life, unlike many fighters who have also finished their careers. So health, medical conditions, lifestyle is a big plus for him.
A lot of things are going to happen. We'll see what happens in Usyk's rematch with Fury and what happens next. Wladimir Klitschko is a legend, especially now that his country is going through very difficult times. I don't usually speculate on such topics, but I think it's a good, positive idea," Suleiman said in an interview with YouTube channel iFL TV.
