The bidding for the Stanionis-Giyasov fight is set for November 8

On November 8, a tender will be held to select the organizer of the WBA welterweight title fight between current champion Eimantas Stanionis (15-0, 9 KOs) and Shahram Giyasov (16-0, 9 KOs).

Earlier, the boxing teams were given time to negotiate but failed to reach an agreement. Stanionis last boxed in May, defeating Gabriel Maestre.

The Lithuanian became a full World Boxing Association champion after Terence Crawford changed weight class. Giyasov has had two fights this year and last boxed in July, defeating Miguel Parra.
