Eddie Reynoso denied information about a possible fight between Saul Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) and Chris Eubank Jr (34-3, 25 KOs). Such a fight is not in the plans of the team of the Mexican boxer.
Negotiations for the fight between Canelo and the Brit were underway months ago, but in the end Eubank said that before crossing gloves with Alvarez, he would like to have two fights and get into his rhythm. The Mexican's camp didn't take that decision well.
Eubank recently signed with promotional organization Boxxer and in his last professional appearance, he scored an early win over Kamil Sheremeta. The Brit is expected to return to the ring early next year, with Canelo's next fight taking place in May at Premier Boxing Champions Boxing Night. The Mexican does not have a signed contract with any company, but has stated that he will continue to work with Al Haymon.
