Tyson Fury Names Surprise Next Opponent After Usyk: "It's Not Joshua"

The all-British fight between Fury and Joshua doesn't mean as much now because both fighters have lost recently. Fury lost to Usyk in May, which was his first professional defeat. It was a split decision loss in a fight for the undisputed title. Usyk had a big ninth round and even knocked Fury down.

After beating Fury, Usyk got the WBC belt but had to give up the IBF strap because he had to fight Fury again. Daniel Dubois then won the IBF title by beating Filip Hrgovic. Dubois became the full champion and went on to knock out Anthony Joshua in the fifth round at Wembley Stadium in September, dropping him several times.

Fury had good things to say about Dubois' win. He said:

"I think it was fantastic, I thought he did a fantastic job."

When asked who he'd fight after his rematch with Usyk, Fury didn't hesitate:

"Usyk again. Usyk again."

Fury and Usyk will fight again on December 21. Fury thinks he'll win and then set up a third fight with Usyk.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, says Joshua could either fight Dubois again or try to set up a match with Fury. Even though both Fury and Joshua have lost recently, fans still want to see them fight each other.
