Joshua got knocked down in the first round and put down several more times as the fight went on. Dubois landed a short right hand that left Joshua face down on the canvas, struggling to get up. The referee waved the fight off.
Fury watched the fight from the front row. He'll face Usyk on December 21st in a rematch to try and avenge the only loss of his career. Fury had hoped to fight the winner of Joshua-Dubois in an undisputed clash. He preferred a fight with Joshua for what could have been the largest purse of his career.
After the fight, Fury told TNT Sports Boxing:
"That cost me £150 million the silly c****. Of course it has, he's f**ked."
The loss means one of the biggest fights in world boxing won't happen. It also affects potential undisputed heavyweight matchups in the future.
Joshua has vowed to carry on fighting. He could still fight Fury before he retires.
The fight's outcome shocked many boxing fans and changed the landscape of the heavyweight division.
