Haney claims: Lopez turned down a fight with him

Devin Haney, the "champion on vacation" WBC bantamweight champion, has announced that Teofimo Lopez has turned down a fight with him.

"I was supposed to return to the ring in October in Saudi Arabia and the next opponent was supposed to be Theo. Turki offered him a fight and a decent payday, but he said he wasn't ready to accept such a challenge," BoxingScene quoted Haney as saying.
