Anthony Joshua's Next Opponent Poses Unexpected Threat, Says Boxing Legend: "Very Hard Night"

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois are getting ready for a big fight at Wembley Stadium. The two British heavyweights will face off on September 21 for the IBF Heavyweight World Championship.

Dubois got his shot at the title after Oleksandr Usyk decided to give it up. Now, Joshua has a chance to become a three-time heavyweight champion, something only five other fighters have done in the division.

David Haye, a former champion himself, shared his thoughts about the fight on the Up Front podcast. He thinks Joshua has gotten a lot better since losing to Usyk twice.

"This new Anthony Joshua would've smoked the old Anthony Joshua in one round. Plain and simple. This version, one round, two rounds max, he would've took him out."

Haye believes Joshua's improvement comes from working with coach Ben Davison. They've focused on strategy and putting punches together in the right order.

But Haye also had some words about Dubois. He thinks Dubois will have a tough time if he fights like he did against Filip Hrgovic.

"If the version of Dubois who fought Hrgovic turns up, I think [Dubois] has a very, very hard night."

Haye pointed out that Dubois took too many right hands in that fight. But he also praised Dubois for his strong chin, saying it's "unquestionable."

Dubois has shown he's tough. He lost to Usyk but bounced back with wins over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic. He proved he has the grit that some people doubted before.

The fight will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office, TNT Sports Box Office, and DAZN PPV. There's talk of a good undercard too. Most people think the main event won't go all 12 rounds.

It's a big night for both fighters. Joshua wants to join an elite group of three-time heavyweight champs. Dubois wants to prove he belongs at the top. The stage is set for an exciting fight at Wembley Stadium.
