Former head coach of the Ukrainian national boxing team Leonid Loevsky shared his expectations from the rematch between unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury scheduled for December 21.
"In the super-heavyweight and heavyweight division, there are no equals to Usyk now. For me, he is the number one athlete in these two weight categories.
Alexander showed himself perfectly in the first fight with the Briton. Sasha has already felt this distance, these punches and even Fury's dimensions were not scary for him. He was confident in the fight and knew what to do next.
Sasha is very disciplined in the training process and in life. I'm sure he will approach the fight in great shape and in this case will again outbox Tyson," - said Loevsky.
Recall that in the first fight, held on May 18, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision of judges.
