Former Heavyweight Champ Sounds Alarm on Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul: "Age Is Undefeated"

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are set to face off in a boxing match that's got everyone talking. The fight between the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer and the 58-year-old former heavyweight champ will be a fully sanctioned professional bout, without headguards.

Paul's got 11 fights under his belt, winning 10 with most by stoppage. But he's faced criticism for picking opponents who aren't seasoned boxers. Tyson, on the other hand, is a boxing legend. Known as 'Iron' Mike, he knocked out 19 opponents in a row within the first six rounds as a teenager.

Joseph Parker, the former WBO world champion, shared his thoughts on the match. Parker, who recently beat Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder on points, isn't sure what to make of it.

"Listen I'm all for boxing and I'm all for big fights but Mike Tyson is a legend. No matter how great he was in the past with the ferocious style that he had and punches he would throw and knocking everyone out but 58 years old is old for a fighter. Jake Paul has youth on his side and with each fight he is getting better and better so it will be a hard fight to watch."

Parker thinks Tyson's age will make this clash tough to watch. He wonders how much power Tyson's got left at 58.

"If Mike comes out and knocks him out, we'll be like… The power is the last thing to go, but at 58 years old how much power is left? We see short clips but we're not sure what happens before and after these clips. We'll see."

The former champ also pointed out that while we've seen some training footage of Tyson, it's hard to know what's really going on behind the scenes.

This fight has stirred up a lot of debate. Paul's been improving with each fight, but Tyson's got decades of experience. It's a match-up that's got boxing fans scratching their heads.

Parker might get back in the ring himself soon. There's talk of a rematch with Zhang in December. But for now, like the rest of us, he'll be watching to see how this unusual Paul-Tyson showdown plays out.
