Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) has announced that his fight with William Cepeda (31-0, 17 KOs) won't take place until next February as part of another Riyadh Season boxing night organized in the United States.
The fight was previously scheduled for October 12. Stevenson is the WBC lightweight champion, and Cepeda is the official challenger for the World Boxing Council belt.
It is possible that in the fall, Stevenson will hold an interim fight in which he will cross gloves with Joe Cordina. Thus, the American will begin cooperation with the promoter organization Matchroom Boxing.
