Tyson Fury faces a career-defining moment in his upcoming rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. The self-proclaimed best heavyweight in the world lost to Usyk in May, marking his first defeat and costing him the undisputed crown.

Usyk, who moved up from cruiserweight, has made quite an impact in the heavyweight division. He beat Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua twice, and Daniel Dubois. These wins earned him three world titles and the status of unified heavyweight champion.

In their first clash, Usyk narrowly won on points, becoming the undisputed king of the heavyweights. Now, Fury gets his shot at revenge this December, sticking with the same corner despite criticism.

Former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch shared his thoughts on the rematch on his YouTube channel, Froch on Fighting. He advised Fury to consider retirement if he can't beat Usyk this time.

"If Tyson Fury loses to Usyk again after having a bit of a time out to get over the defeat then have a really good training camp."

Froch pointed out several factors that might work against Fury:

"At 36, he struggles to do the weight, slowing down, all the stats are leaning towards Fury starting to be past his best, if he gets back in there and earns another 50 million quid or whatever, and he gets beat, he's not going to fight again is he. He doesn't need the money, and doesn't need to get punched in the head."

The former champ believes this could be Fury's last fight if he loses:

"Spend some time with your family and turn it in. If he loses to Usyk I think that will be the last we see of Tyson Fury, he's had a fantastic career and he's been great for the sport but he's been beat up twice by the main man."

Froch acknowledged Fury's fantastic career and positive impact on boxing. However, he feels two losses to Usyk would signal it's time for Fury to hang up his gloves. The rematch in December will likely determine the future of one of boxing's biggest stars.
