Former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has made no secret of the fact that he was pleased with Tyson Fury's defeat in his fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
Recall that in May the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by split decision of judges. The rematch is expected to take place on December 21 there.
"I'm glad that Fury did not become an absolute world champion. I've always said he's an idiot. He behaves in a very disrespectful way. He hits on people to make himself feel good. He was very disrespectful to Usyk, calling him a rabbit and a middleweight. That's not good for the sport.
If I respect you and you respect me, together we take boxing to a new level. People think we're the most elite boxers on the planet. And Fury comes at you and you look like the type that just came out of a bar. But he got in the ring and took a beating. He deserved it," Joshua told Seconds Out.
