Oleksandr Usyk, the world heavyweight champion, said he wants to save Olympic boxing.

"Look, I've got a lot of work to do. I have to change the world of this sport. Boxing has to change, the number of corruption schemes in boxing has to decrease. World amateur boxing... The Ready To Fight team will make every effort to make boxing happen in Los Angeles [at the 2028 Olympics]. My maximal task is to make Olympic boxing clean. My team has a recipe for that. If the Olympic Committee wants to cooperate, we'll get involved to help them. Our task is only that. We are working for boxing."
