Famous British trainer Peter Fury believes that the WBA world champion Terence Crawford in the first middleweight Terence Crawford fairly won the fight against Israil Madrimov.
"In my opinion Crawford won by unanimous decision of the judges. In my opinion, it was a very technical confrontation, a very hard fight in the sense that it turned out to be extremely technical. One fighter was trying to outwork the other. There was a lot of stealth work done in this fight.
It's a tough fight because it was a chess game. Madrimov is very technical, but if you look at the fight, could he have done more? He did a lot of feinting, waiting and then missing punches. I think both fighters did their best. But for me there's a clear winner here, and that's Crawford," Fury said in an interview with YouTube channel Boxing Social.
Recall that on August 3, Crawford defeated Madrimov by unanimous decision of judges in the main event of the evening of boxing in the American Los Angeles.
