Dave Caldwell, former trainer of former world champion Tony Bellew, believes the outcome of the fight between British super featherweights Joe Joyce and Dereck Chisor will depend on which of them has more strength left.
"Derek said it's his last fight at the O2 Arena. It's going to be a bit of an emotional night for him. I know he loves the place and the fans love the place. They always come to his fights. I hope it's very well received.
As far as the fight goes, I think it's a question of who has what left. A fighter can end at any time, especially when you take punches throughout your career. Sooner or later the hold is going to end. And once it's over, fighters very rarely come back. Joyce is not a fighter who can hide that weakness with defense. He had a fight against Kash Ali, and he didn't look great in it. So I honestly think it depends on what they have left here," Caldwell said in an interview with YouTube channel Boxing News.
Recall that the bout Joyce against Chisora will take place on July 27 in London.
