Bogachuk: "Ortiz knows I don't get tired."
Interim WBC interim WBC light middleweight champion Sergiy Bogachuk shared his thoughts on how Vergil Ortiz Jr. would do in a fight with him.
"He knows me. He's going to prepare one hundred percent right now. Ortiz knows I don't get tired. He's going to prepare to stay level with me. Plus, I think he'll have tactics to box more intelligently with me. If he knows I don't get tired, there's no point in going into the exchanges with me because he'll get tired and I won't. He will tactically try to be tricky.
We'll see everything in the fight. I don't want to get ahead of myself, I don't want to make loud statements, because it's not very nice to talk loud at first and then come out in the fight and shit yourself, to put it mildly. I do not respect this in boxers when they talk a lot, and then just lose," said Bogachuk in an interview with YouTube channel SNOWQUEENLA.
Recall that the fight Bogachuk against Ortiz will take place on August 10 in the U.S. Las Vegas.
