Puryear: "I can beat any fighter in the lightweight division"

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier spoke about his mindset for his upcoming bout with current full titleholder Islam Makhachev.

"I'm in the best physical and mental shape. I have confidence in myself, my skills and the realization that I can beat any fighter at lightweight. Sometimes I feel like I have a gift.

I manage to find ways to win in moments of chaos. It seems crazy, but those are the situations where I feel good and where I get to show my skill level. I especially like it when I'm put on the outside of the court, pinned to the net, with punches flying at me and blood pouring everywhere. In such fights I find ways to win," - quotes the words of Puryear BJ Penn.
