Tyson Fury, the former WBC heavyweight champion, has expressed strong confidence that he will face Anthony Joshua in a boxing match at Wembley Stadium by mid-2025.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Fury highlighted the intense public interest and debate in the UK surrounding this potential fight. He stated,
"A fight with Joshua? Next year, definitely. Win or lose, that fight is something that has to happen because there's so much talk about it in the UK. There's so many opinions about it. I would be very surprised if that fight didn't happen in Wembley by mid-2025."
Fury recently faced Oleksandr Usyk on May 19 and suffered a loss by split decision in their bout for the undisputed heavyweight champion title. Despite this setback, his record impressive remains with 34 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.
