American mixed martial arts titlist Demetruis Johnson shared his thoughts on the future of absolute world heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk.
On May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Ukrainian defeated Britain's Tyson Fury by split judges' decision.
"Now I would like to see Usyk's third fight against Anthony Joshua, because the Ukrainian beat Fury and Joshua dealt with Ngannou.
But if Usyk decides not to defend the belt but to retire, I will be absolutely happy. Floyd Mayweather once ended his career with 50 straight wins, and Usyk can do the same. Retire at his peak, being the best in the world. Don't give anyone a chance to take your legacy away from you," Johnson said in a recent release on his YouTube channel.
