Former WBO heavyweight champion Johnny Nelson admits that Tyson Fury may hang up his gloves after his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
On May 18, the Briton lost to the Ukrainian by split decision of judges in a fight for the title of absolute world champion in the super heavyweight division.
"Fury will be crushed by this result. His team will have to make a serious effort to get his motivation back. Don't be surprised if Tyson just walks away.
Tyson can only regret playing around with Usyk and playing the showman. At one point Fury thought he was the king and that Usyk's pressure was unbeatable. But Alexander attacked and hit steadily. He built up momentum and dealt Tyson a serious blow in the decisive rounds. Fury was saved only by the ropes. Even that knockdown from Deontay Wilder wasn't as dangerous. Fury can say what he wants, but he did not deserve to win," - quotes Nelson Sky Sports.
