Froch: "Fury came into the fight with no confidence that he could beat Usyk"

Titled British boxing veteran, expert and commentator Carl Froch shared his thoughts on the defeat of compatriot Tyson Fury in the fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

On May 18, in the main event of an evening of boxing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Fury lost to Usyk by split decision of the judges. At stake was the title of absolute heavyweight champion.

"I've never seen Tyson so nervous, he was really nervous and on edge. During the staredown fight, he didn't want to look his opponent in the eye. It was like he cut someone off with his car and then that person stopped next to him.

It seemed to me that Fury was too nervous. He entered the ring without confidence that he can beat Usyk," - quotes Froch talkSport.
