The judging panel that will serve and evaluate Saturday's fight between Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) has been determined. American Mark Nelson will be the third man in the ring, while the side judges will be Manuel Oliver Palermo (Spain), Craig Metcalfe (Canada) and Mike Fitzgerald (USA).

The judging panel appears to have already been approved by both boxers' teams and the British Boxing Commission. The fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, which will feature four heavyweight championship belts, is scheduled for May 18 and will take place in Saudi Arabia.

In his last big fight in March this year, Mark Nelson stopped Liam Wilson's bout against Oscar Valdez in the seventh round. Despite his extensive experience, this will be Nelson's first time refereeing a world heavyweight title fight. Most of his work before has come in the lighter weight classes.

Of the three judges, only Craig Metcalfe has experience with one of the participants in Saturday's upcoming fight. In January 2018, he assessed the Ukrainian's fight with Mairis Briedis as a draw - 114-114. Two other judges posted a score of 115-113 in favor of Usyk, who eventually won by majority decision.
