Cason's training during the Islamic holy month of fasting was a challenging feat of endurance and discipline. "My recent training camp was amazing. Most of my camp during Ramadan was a new accomplishment for me. I think my mindset has reached a new level," he said.
Scheduled for a six-round confrontation promoted by Teflon Promotions, Cason faces Webster, a boxer with a record of 12-7-3 and six knockouts. Describing Webster, Cason said, "DeShawn Webster is a formidable opponent. I think he’s going to come in tough and I think the world is going to see what I’ve been working on for the last year and a half with my coach Rasheem Jefferson."
His goal remains clear as he steps into the ring this weekend. "I plan to show skills in this fight and continue my journey to become a world champion," Cason added, setting high expectations for his performance on Saturday night.
This upcoming match offers him another opportunity to solidify his place among top prospects: "I think a win for me will solidify my standings in the prospect rankings of becoming the world champion."
