2020 Olympic silver medalist Richard Torres (9-0, 9 KOs) will fight his next professional fight on May 18 at San Diego Boxing Night. The 24-year-old American heavyweight's opponent will be unbeaten compatriot Brandon Moore (14-0, 8 KOs).

This will be Torres' second fight this year. In late March, he won an early decision over Donald Haynesworth. Moore's last fight took place in early March.

The main event of the evening will be a fight between Mexican Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) and Ukrainian Denis Berinchik (18-0, 9 KOs) for the vacant WBO lightweight title. The World Boxing Organization title in this weight class previously belonged to Devin Haney.
