Holloway wants to fight Gaethje at UFC 300

Former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway continues to insist on a fight with the owner of the symbolic belt BMF ("Badest Bastard") Justin Gaethje. Now the American has expressed a desire to meet with his compatriot at the UFC 300 anniversary tournament, scheduled for April next year.

“I think we could both please the fans. I know the UFC doesn't have a lot of big fights at UFC 300, so our fight would fit in nicely here. We know that Makhachev will not fight at this time, so Gaethje will have to wait until October.

I don't think it should sit idle for that long. So why not have a little fun? Plus, we will both get decent fees, put on a show and give joy to the fans. That’s the idea,” Holloway was quoted as saying by MMA Junkie.

Let us remember that Holloway had his last fight at the end of August, when he knocked out Chen Sung Jong in the third round.
