Briggs: “I want the whole ring to be red with blood during the Usyk-Fury fight”

Former world champion Shannon Briggs shared his expectations from the fight of the WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) with WBA, WBO and IBF champion Alexander Usik (21-21), which will take place on February 17 in Riyadh.

“I think Fury will prepare for this fight much better than for the fight with Ngannou. Perhaps he had some kind of vacation there, but now he will be in shape.

Usyk will also come to the fight in good shape. I was a little concerned that in his last fight he was not as active as usual, but nevertheless, I think that he and Tyson will have a phenomenal fight.

They'll probably test each other out in the opening rounds, but then they'll have to get down to business, and I'm looking forward to that. I want to see the cut. I want to see blood everywhere, I want the whole ring to be red with blood,” Briggs said.
