The head of the promotion company Matchroom Boxing Eddie Hearn said that the WBA light heavyweight world champion Dmitry Bivol is scheduled to return to the ring on January 13 in Las Vegas.
“Dmitry will return to the ring in January, most likely on the 13th in Las Vegas. And then we want to make a fight against Beterbiev. There are several options for this. But if Callum Smith defeats Beterbiev, he will become Bivol’s opponent. It is even better. So we’ll see,” Boxing Scene quotes Hearn as saying.
Let us remember that Bivol had his last fight in November last year, when he defeated Gilberto Ramirez by unanimous decision.
