Famous ex-world champion Roy Jones believes that Tyson Fury obliged to give revenge Francis Ngannou, and only then go out to fight against Alexandra Usika.
“If we don’t come back and get Tyson Fury’s rematch with Francis Ngannou and clear up the picture and get a really clear winner, then we’re just going to hurt boxing even more, because these things hurt boxing. I understand that Fury has already signed a contract to fight Usyk, but if Alexander, Tyson and everyone else love boxing as much as I do, then we should first return to the fight with Ngannou.
Usik's fight with Fury means nothing. We don't think Tyson will beat Francis Ngannou. So why will he fight Usyk? Sometimes boxing has to cleanse itself. This is one of those events where people have the control and the power to allow boxing to cleanse itself. That’s what needs to be done,” Jones said in an interview with ProBox TV.
Let us remember that on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision (96-93, 95-94, 94-95) in the main event of the boxing evening in Riyadh.
