Top New Zealand heavyweight Joseph Parker believes that the fight for the title of absolute world champion in his weight category between Tyson Fury And Alexander Usik could still take place on December 23rd as originally planned.
“I don’t think the fight with Usyk will be postponed due to Fury’s injuries. I hope this doesn't happen. I believe that there is still a good chance that the fight will take place in December. I think it should happen. Yes, it seems to me that Tyson should immediately fight Usyk,” Parker said in an interview with the Seconds Out YouTube channel.
Let us remember that after Fury’s difficult victory over Francis Ngannou, Tyson’s promoter Frank Warren announced that his boxer would not be ready to fight Usyk at the end of this year.
