Wilder's coach: “After the announcement of the Usyk-Fury fight, the dialogue on the fight between Deontay and Joshua stopped”

Malik Scott, trainer of former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, told what prevented him from organizing a fight between his ward and Anthony Joshua.

“At first this fight was scheduled for January. A month later, Fury and Usyk signed a contract for the fight, and after that there is no dialogue on the confrontation between Wilder and Joshua. Interest in their fight is gradually disappearing. This is madness. Disgusting situation. I don’t like the way things are in boxing right now,” Boxing News 24 quotes Scott.

Wilder last fought in October last year, knocking out Helenius.
