Former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KO) is seriously considering leaving their professional boxing. This was announced by the head of the WBO, Francisco Valcárcel, during a meeting of the organization’s rating committee in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
“They told me that Lomachenko would leave boxing. I have certain doubts, but we’ll see,” the functionary said.
Let us remind you that in his last appearance in the ring, the 35-year-old Ukrainian veteran failed to win the title of absolute world lightweight champion, losing on points to American Devin Haney. The fight took place in May of this year.
