Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez expressed the opinion that Sergei Pavlovich strong enough to win the belt in the division.
“Do I believe that Sergey can become a champion? Yes. I trained with him several years ago. Then he was not yet at that level, but it was difficult to work with him. When I spar with other guys, few can get the better of me. But he was really difficult to work with. He has a good wrestling base, strong defense in wrestling and a powerful punch. He’s a tall and strong guy,” Velasquez said in an interview with The Schmo.
Let us remember that Pavlovich is on a streak of six knockout victories in a row. In his last fight, which took place in April, he crushed Curtis Blaydes.
