Coker answered a question about the future of Bellator

Bellator President Scott Coker, at a press conference after the 300th tournament, commented on rumors about the sale of the promotion.

“There is a lot of uncertainty and a lot of unknowns. We'll see how everything turns out, whether the deal goes through or not. Such things take time, but for now these are just assumptions. I am not the owner of Bellator, it is not my organization, and I cannot sell it or merge it. The promotion is owned by Viacom, they have their own processes and do what they think is necessary.

It’s difficult for me to comment on the situation, because now everything is completely different from what it was in 2011, when we sold Strikeforce. There are similar feelings, but at the end of the day, this is not my company,” Coker said.
