Former world super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez, back on track after losing to the WBA light heavyweight belt holder Dmitry Bivol, expressed a desire to once again meet the Russian in the ring.

Let us remind you that on October 8, the Mexican won a unanimous decision over Joe Smith Jr. The fight took place in the intermediate weight up to 87.5 kg.

“Looking forward to the future. Whoever lies ahead, I must defeat him. I wish Bivol all the best. He is an excellent fighter and a great champion and he must continue to fight. I think he’ll eventually move up to cruiserweight,” Ramirez said at a press conference.
