Looks like two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (26-2, 23 KOs) will return to the ring only next year. Most recently, the Briton's next professional fight was scheduled to take place in December.
Matchroom Boxing's Frank Smith admitted that Joshua is likely to return to the ring early next year. This year, the Briton fought two fights, defeating Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius.
At the same time, negotiations are still ongoing regarding the fight between Joshua and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs). This fight is scheduled to take place next year in the United Arab Emirates or Qatar.
