Warren: “We’ll name the exact date for Fury-Usyk after the fight with Ngannou”

British promoter Frank Warren commented on the signing of a contract for the fight Tyson Fury against Alexandra Usika: "We did it. No. 1 versus No. 2, with four belts on the line, this is a historic fight—the biggest heavyweight fight of this century... It will be the biggest, biggest boxing event ever staged.”

Warren also added that he will officially announce the exact date of Fury-Usyk after the fight with Francis Ngannou, which is scheduled for October 28. At the moment, working dates are December 23rd or January next year. The winner of the Fury-Usyk fight, if it happens, will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
