Joshua's promoter assessed the likelihood of a fight against Zhilei

Promoter of former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) Eddie Hearn said he is not opposed to his client fighting against Zhang Zhilei (26-1-1, 21 KOs) in the future, but at the moment they have completely different plans.

“This is a big fight for China. Of course, first of all we plan to fight Deontay Wilder, but I think that Anthony will have no problem sharing the ring with Zhilei. Previously, we had already considered him as an opponent, especially for the fight in the Far East. So we’ll see,” Hearn said in an interview with the Boxing News YouTube channel.
