Savannah Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) was stripped of her WBC super middleweight title. Due to health problems, the boxer from the UK will not be able to return to the ring until next spring.

Marshall, in her next appearance in the ring, was to defend her belt against Shadasia Green (13-0, 11 KOs). Now the American, promoted by Jake Paul, will fight for the vacant World Boxing Council belt against another opponent.

Marshall recently signed with the PFL, along with Claressa Shields and Amanda Serrano, and is scheduled to make her MMA debut next year. This means that the British athlete could return to the boxing ring no earlier than next autumn.
